Lake Powell

This last weekend Colby and I went to Lake Powell with Warren Hallmark and a bunch of other friends. We left early on Thursday morning and came home on Saturday/Sunday morning. It was so much fun. We camped on a beach and it was a lot of fun. The first night we were there it was really windy. Tents broke and fell down and things were flying everywhere. We took about an hour trying to get our stuff together and then we gave up and decided to go swim in the crazy water instead of worry about everything. The waves were so big that Colby and Warren decided to body surf them. It actually worked ..haha. The next day we woke up to the boat beached so the boys worked on it for about an hour and then decided to girls should try and help and of course when we helped we got it unstuck. I guess we are just stronger than the boys ;).  We had a fun day full of boating, and water football. The next day we got up early and went tubing and wake boarded and did some cliff jumping. That afternoon we went on a boat ride around Lake Powell. By the time we got back the Wind had picked up and it was really crazy. It was very surprising that nobody was hurt when we were trying to get the boat off the shore and into a canyon so it wasn't so windy. After about an hour sitting in a canyon we decided it was time to pack up since we were just going to be leaving the next morning anyways. So at about 9:00 pm we started packing up our things and headed for the Marina. We got home at 6:00 am yesterday. It was such a fun trip and a great way to spend our last weekend before school starts this week. Thanks Wern for taking us. We had a lot of fun. Of course I didn't take any pictures but some of the other girls that were there did. So when they put them on FB I will snatch them and share.
