To a Hero.

Today is my amazing mothers birthday! I have been so blessed to be raised by a mom who is so caring and supportive. She is so much fun to be around and is always very welcoming to new people who come into our lives. My dad and her have made my siblings and I a priority in their lives to always support us in everything we do. They have made sure to be at all of our soccer games, dance performances, hockey games, swim meets, birthday parties and so much more. They have also made it known to us how much they love each other every day. I remember growing up and my mom telling me how she falls in love with my dad more and more everyday. She is such a great example to me as a mother and friend. She is so great to her friends and makes sure to tell them how much they mean to her as often as she can. She always gets them birthday gifts and Christmas gifts to make sure they know that they mean a lot to her. She has always put my siblings and I in front of herself. There have been so many times at a meal when one of us is still hungry and she offers us her food to make sure we leave the table full and she ends up eating a very small portion of what she could of had. She has planned many fun vacations, birthday parties, outings, and fun activities so we can spend time as a family. She has truly always put family first in her life. When I was little I had a very hard time going to 1st grade. My mom was in nursing school and was on the path to getting her degree. She would always drop me off at school and stay with me as long as needed to make sure I would be okay. With out fail every day I would cry and cry and the teachers would have to pull me off of her. She then decided that nursing school was far less important to her then I was and she quit. This is just one of the many sacrifices she has made in her life for me and the rest of the family. I love my mom so much and I am so grateful to call her my mom and friend... I love you mom. I hope you have the best birthday EVER! xoxo.
