The Holidays, and Sin City

 Christmas was really good this year. It was Colby and my first Christmas together married and we had been looking forward to it for a long time. For Christmas Eve Colby and I spent it with my family. We went to my parents house and ate dinner and played Bingo. My mom got lots of good prizes. It was a lot of fun. After we opened pajamas and did some traditional things. One of the traditions we do is go to Midnight Mass. It's very festive. We slept at my parents and then woke up had breakfast and opened our presents from my parents. It was a lot of fun spending time with them. Colby and I left and went home to open our own gifts to each other. We went a little overboard and bought each other a lot of stuff but it was way fun and worth it :). Christmas afternoon we went to our Grandma Pierce and Aunt Colleens house and opened presents with Pierce family and had lunch. It was a lot of fun getting everyone together and celebrating Christmas. For the next week we house sat for my Grandpa and Grandma Butterfield and watched their dog Suzie. She was a hand full because she was sick and we were glad to be done but I love that little dog. Of course we never want one of our own now.. it was great doggie birth control. on New years eve we left to the airport and headed to Vegas to spend time with Colby's mom and his siblings. His mom bought us all nerf guns so we had a HUGE nerf gun war. It was so much fun running through the house shooting those things at each other. We went to the strip one of the days we were there. I like Vegas a lot. It was my first time actually staying somewhere off the strip and it was a lot more enjoyable. I actually got to see Vegas.. Not just the strip.  Colby and I both got Bronchitis the last day we were there. Its been 4 days since we started getting it and we still have it. Good thing we have a Wii and Netflix to give us unlimited entertainment.. Being sick is no fun. So all in all the holidays were great and spending time with the family is always something we look forward to.
