What we have been up to.

Colby finished off the semester and he (I'm sure) did wonderfully! He is such a great learner and always does great with his grades every semester.  He has been working a lot and has been having fun hanging out with the guys every now and then. He was offered another job but we decided it would be best if he turned it down due to the fact he would of had to work about 50-60 hours a week plus be a full time student. Talk about no fun at all and a lot of stress! He got all of his Christmas shopping done.. even before me. Christmas is one of his favorite times of year and he is excited for it again this year. (even though he acts like he hates me playing christmas 24/7.. But I know he secretly loves it! Right now he is growing out a Gotee and couldn't be any more handsome.

Danielle..As for me I just finished off the semester also and I have only gotten one grade back. I was hoping for an A but I received slightly lower which I wasn't too happy about but its a good grade non the less. I have our house decorated for Christmas and I love turning the lights from the Christmas tree and garland on while watching a movie and wrapping presents. I have been working.. but not as much as Colby. I have most of the Christmas shopping done with the exception of a few more gifts to buy for a couple people. I am extremely excited to spend Christmas Eve night in our own place instead of sleeping over at our parents. We slept over last year and I'm excited to be able to wake up and open our gifts together alone in our cozy house. We didn't send out any Christmas cards this year but I will next year.. mark my words :).

Us.. We have been spending a lot of time with our families. Last Friday we went to the Conference center for the Christmas concert they have every year. I don't know about everyone else but I always enjoy it. This year President Monson came the same night we did. It is always so touching to see him walk in... everyone stands.. and you could hear a pin drop with how quiet everyone is. It doesn't matter who was in that building. If they were members or not, everyone gave him so much respect. I just love that man. He has spoken many great words but this is one of my favorites..

“Stick to a task 'til it sticks to you. . .for beginners are many, but finishers few.”

On Saturday we went to Sherlock Holmes.. it was amazing! I thought the first was way good, but this one is amazing! Colby and I also went to the temple lights with some friends on Sunday. It is always so beautiful to see the many lights. there weren't as many lights this year and usual but it still was a magical night.  As for Christmas week... we are going to have a busy week filled with last minute preparations and traditions for Christmas... Then for New Years we will be off to Vegas for the annual trip to see our mom and sister. This year we will be staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in this room...

Romantic right? Gotta love Groupon!!!

So, that's what we have and will be up to this Christmas season. We hope this Holiday season finds you well. Merry Christmas, and Happy New Years!!
