Our Summer :)

This summer has been so much fun but has flown by way to fast. To end the summer we are going camping this Friday with my Family and then school starts for Colby on Monday then I start school on Wednesday. A couple weeks ago we went on a double date to Bear Lake and Rented Jet skis with my best friend Kara and her date Nick. It was incredible. Kara and Nick left and Colby and I stayed at kara's Cabin up there. It was so good to get away and have a weekend together at Bear lake.I have baby sat a little boy named Gabe since he was about 3 months old and is now almost three. I cant believe how big Gabe is getting. I love him so much. He is so stinking cute and I love being around him. He makes me laugh so hard. On Saturday Colby and I went and baby sat him and Colby taught him a new word. His dog's names is dutch so Colby taught him to call him the "Dutchanator" HAHA! So when his mom walked in the door after being gone all day she was greeted with her little boy saying MOM!!! ITS THE DUTCHANATOR! His new favorite past time is sitting on their deck and watching the cars drive by. I kid you not, he can name almost every car that drives by and their colors. Even the bob cat tractors he will say " look its a bob cat!" He is so smart and Colby and I love his cute little personality. He loves colby and he loves to copy everything that colby does. Colby wore a baseball cap when we went to baby sit him and gabe had his on as well. So whatever Colby would do with his hat, Gabe would also do. If Colby turned it sideways, Gabe would turn his sideways. They actually both posed as gangsters for the Camera. haha.Colby and I spoke in Church on Sunday. I am glad I had the chance to speak but i have for sure glad its over. I get way to nervous. Colby on the other hand... he speaks like it is nothing. I guess that's what missions do to you :). Colby is trying to teach me spanish so the other night when we had scripture study we read his Spanish scriptures. It was way fun trying to speak it and understand. but lets just say I have A LOT to learn. I also got a calling in church to be the Valiant 9 primary teacher :)! I can't wait. It is going to be such a blast and I am so happy to having a calling. Colby is still patiently awaiting his calling in church.
A couple weeks ago our friends Taylor and Gabi were married. We had the opportunity to go to their sealing and luncheon. It was such a beautiful day and We were so happy to be involved. We love going to the temple so much. It is such an amazing place to go to get away from all the worldly things. I love it there so much and look forward to going every time we get the chance.
Two Sunday's ago Colbys dad Jan, Colby and I went to his mission presidents homecoming. In sacrament they had all the old missionaries that they had in their mission sing "called to serve" two verses English and one verse Spanish. There were so many missionaries there to see their President and his wife that when they sang it sounded AMAZING! They were so good and to see Colby up there with all those missionaries was a very cool experience for me and I'm sure it was a great experience for him to be surrounded by his mission friends singing what they believe in.This Saturday we went to the Salt lake Real Game with some of Colby's mission companions. Before the game Roxas (one of Colby's companions) and Megan Came over and we had a BBQ. We love hanging out with them. They are so much fun to be around and so kind. Then from there we went to the game and met up with his other mission companion named Colton and his date. It was so much going to the game with all them. After the game we went and got ice cream. lets just say that we had a lot of fun and there was A LOT of laughs.
